Play As The Same Character
When the Battle Mode screen appears that enables you to choose either Match Play or Elimination Rules appears, press Down, Z, Up, X, A, Y, B, C on Controller Two. You'll hear a chime if the code worked. When Battle Mode begins, you'll be able to choose the same World Warrior twice!
Play As Same Character Using 3-Button Controller
At the Battle Mode Select screen press Down, C, Up, A, A, B, B, C.
Level Skip
On a one player game when you're about to fight the first guy, press start on the second player control. There should be a message that says: A New Challenger Is Approaching! Make the second player pick the person that you would have fought. Beat him and it will count as you beat the computer! You can do this throughout the whole game!
Hyper Speed With 3-Button Controller
As the building at the start of the intro is fading out, press Down, C, Up, A, A, B, B, C.
Hidden Cinema
To see the hidden ending, beat a one player game on a difficulty rating of at least four stars.
Fight At Five-Star Speed In Champion Mode
Turn on the game and wait for the opening cinematic sequence. When the blue Street Fighter II logo appears, get ready. As soon as the buildings in the background start to fade out, press DOWN, Z, UP, X, A, B, C on controller one.
Disable Normal Moves With A 3-Button Controller
To use only special moves (no kicks or punches) do the following. At the Capcom logo, press Down, C, Up, A, A, B, B, C.
Disable Normal Moves In One-Player Mode
This trick requires a six-button controller. While the Capcom logo is displayed, press Down, Z, Up, X, Z, Y, B, C or Down, C, Up, A, A, B, B, C.
When the game begins, you'll only be able to use special attacks. Normal punches and kicks won't work.
Configure Controller
Here's an easy way to configure your controller without using option codes. Go to the Character Select Screen and pick your characters in a one- or two-player game. After you choose your characters, press and hold Start. When you fly onto the stage, a configuration screen will appear.
Change Color
When you pick a character press the start button and it will change the fighters color of costume.
Balrog's Charge Punch
Go to the OPTIONS screen and configure your controller so that only one PUNCH button is on. Now with Balrog, you only have to charge one button to do his turn punch!
