Extra Paint Schemes Complete campaign mode on any difficulty as a Knight, Soldier, and Mercenary to unlock that respective paint scheme
Unlockable Planes Complete the game once with any difficulty to unlock the F-22A. Complete the game twice with any difficulty but with a different ace style to unlock the X-02.
Obtain all supreme ace medals to unlock the ADF-01. You will still need to buy those planes after being unlocked.

Unlocking Medals Unlocking the Supreme Aces and regular Ace medals are different. To unlock the stadard ace medal, you must clear the game with the arrow in that ace zone. To unlock the Supreme Ace mdeal, you must be as far into the zone as possible
Bronze Ace - Medal Destroy 200 enemy targets. Bronze Shooter - Medal Down 5 enemy planes (cumulative) with ONLY machine gun fire from your aircraft. Bronze Wing - Medal Earn 'S' Ranks on all 32 missions on "Normal" handicap. Desert Eagle - Medal Aid friendlies in Missions 16A or 16B, no more than 3 can bite the dust. Gold Ace - Medal Destroy 1000 enemy targets. Gold Anchor - Medal Protect the Kestral and fleet in Mission 3: Narrow Margin. Gold Shooter - Medal Down 50 enemy planes (cumulative) with ONLY machine gun fire from your aircraft. Gold Wing - Medal Earn 'S' Ranks on all 32 missions on "Expert" handicap. Grand Falcon - Medal Annihilate all 16 named planes in second play-through on "Normal" or higher handicaps. Guardian - Medal Down 10 enemy aircraft who have a missile lock on your wingmen's six. Lightning Hammer - Medal Protect all 8 armored tanks on ground, not even one can be destroyed. Needle's Eye - Medal Get "Perfect" phrases from AWACS in all 6 landings and 2 refuelings stages. Silver Ace - Medal Destroy 500 enemy targets. Silver Shooter - Medal Down 15 enemy planes (cumulative) with ONLY machine gun fire from your aircraft. Silver Wing Medal - Earn 'S' Ranks on all 32 missions on "Hard" handicap.
Unlock X-02 after finishing 1st mission Have Ace Combat 4 data on your memory card.
Unlock Plane ADFX-01 Beat campaign mode on any difficulty with all three different ace styles.
Unlock Music Player Clear Campaign once, any difficulty
F22A Successfully complete arcade mode to unlock the F22A.
Unlock Scene Viewer Clear Campaign once, any difficulty
